A man appeared before Dublin District Court yesterday charged with possession of drugs with an estimated street value of £88,000.

Mr Michael Hanley (19), of Blessington Street, Dublin 7, is charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act with possessing cannabis, cocaine and Selegiline, a controlled substance, for his own use and for supply.

He was arrested and charged in connection with a Garda search at Upper Artane Cottages on November 22nd, 1997. He was remanded in custody with consent to his own bail of £5,000 and independent bail of £10,000. He is due to appear again on September 30th.
