A 36 year old Derry man appeared before the Magistrate's Court in Derry yesterday on four charges of sexually abusing a 12 year old boy.
The defendant, who cannot be named, faces two charges of buggery with the boy and two charges of indecently assaulting him.
The offences are alleged to have occurred between January 1st, 1994 and March 30th, 1996. The man, who denies the charges, was remanded in custody for a week.
