A man being held for questioning over the murder of a man in a Dublin pub has been freed without charge.

A man being held for questioning over the murder of a man in a Dublin pub has been freed without charge.

He was arrested during the Garda investigation into the fatal shooting of Anthony Russell (30) in an Artane pub last Friday. The man was released from custody last night.

A Garda spokesman said a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Twelve other men arrested over the murder were freed without charge on Tuesday.

All 13 were arrested in a major Garda operation on Dublin's northside early on Monday.

They were suspected of involvement with two feuding criminal factions based mainly in the Sheriff Street area.
