A man has died following a road traffic collision in Co Tipperary this afternoon.
The collision, involving three cars, occurred at Kilcooley, Gortnahoe, on the Urlingford to Ballingarry Road around 1.45pm.
A man, believed to be in his early 20s, who was the driver of one of the cars was pronounced dead on arrival at Cashel hospital. Three people were injured, two of them seriously in the crash, and have been taken to hospital.
The Garda at Urlingford has begun an investigation into the cause of the collision.
