Man killed in Finglas collision

A man has died following a collision between a car and a lorry in Finglas, north Dublin this morning.

A man has died following a collision between a car and a lorry in Finglas, north Dublin this morning.

The crash happened on the Cappagh Road at around 9.30am. The dead man was the driver of the car.

He has been taken to James Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown where he was later pronounced dead.

The Cappagh Road from Stadium Business Park to Finglas Village, which had been closed after the crash for a technical examination, has now reopened.
