A man in his early twenties was killed this morning when the car in which he was travelling collided with a lorry in Co Donegal.
The collision happened on the Cockhill Road in Buncrana shortly before 2.30 a.m. The victim is understood to have been a passenger in the car.
The driver of the car was taken to Letterkenny Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. The driver of the lorry escaped serious injury.
The victim's name will not be released until the his relatives have been informed.
