A man has died in a single-vehicle crash in Co Meath today.
The car crashed on the Trim road near Ballivor at about 4pm and the man, in his late 30s, was fatally injured. There were no other cars involved.
His body was taken to Our Lady's Hospital, Navan where a postmortem will take place. The road is closed this evening pending an examination by Garda forensic investigators.
Separately, a woman (20) is in a critical condition following a single-car crash in Co Armagh. The incident happened on the Annareagh Road in Richhill at about 1pm.
The woman was taken to hospital following the crash. The PSNI has appealed for witnesses.
