A 19-year-old man has died after the car he was driving crashed in Co Limerick early this morning.
The crash took place on the N21 near Rathkeale at about 8.20am.
The man was alone in the car at the time and there were no other vehicles involved.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to the Mid Western Regional hospital in Limerick for a postmortem.
A total of 151 people have been killed on the State’s roads so far this year.
