A Co Galway man appeared in court yesterday on 48 charges of rape and incest. The accused man was returned for trial to the Central Criminal Court when he made a brief appearance before Judge James O'Sullivan in Ballinasloe.
The alleged offences, involving the 49 year old man's teenage daughter, occurred between 1987 and 1994.
