Gardaí in Waterford have begun an investigation after a 23-year-old man was injured in a shooting last night.
The man was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital following the incident, which happened at about 10.20pm.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made, but gardaí in Dungarvan are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
