Man injured in Dublin shooting

A 35-year-old man is recovering today after he was shot in the leg in Dublin last night.

A 35-year-old man is recovering today after he was shot in the leg in Dublin last night.

Gardaí are appealing for information regarding the incident which happened at Whitestown Drive in Mulhuddart at about 10.35pm.

The victim sustained an injury to his leg when a lone gunman fired a number of shots during the incident.

The man was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.

The scene of the shooting is sealed off pending a Garda technical examination.
