Gunmen fired shots at a car during a burglary in Co Dublin last night. Gardaí are investigating the incident in which a man was held at gunpoint at his house in Rathcoole at about 9.20pm.
A group of men entered his home and stole shotguns. The man was hit on the head with a hammer. The raiders then escaped in a car and fired shots at the injured man, who was in his car. The man was hospitalised with minor injuries.
