Man in his 30s dies after Co Cork house fire

A man in his 30s has died after a fire broke out at a house in Co Cork.

A man in his 30s has died after a fire broke out at a house in Co Cork.

Emergency crews were called to de Valera Place in Charleville at around 5.30 am. A woman and two children who were in the house at the time managed to escape without injury.

The man's body was removed to Cork Regional Hospital for a post-mortem. Gardai are investigating the cause of the blaze and the house has been sealed off pending a technical examination.
