A Tallaght man who was told the wrong time by a woman reacted by breaking her boyfriend's nose, Rathfarnham District Court heard yesterday. Kieran Sargant (23), from Glenshane Grove, pleaded guilty to breaking a window at Butterfield Avenue on March 24th.
On that date he approached a young couple in their 20s outside the woman's front gate in Butterfield Avenue and asked, her the time. Sargant accused her of telling him the wrong time and verbally abused her. He then pushed her boyfriend and hit him in the face.
Judge Sean Delap remanded him in custody until July 2nd.
