A man (26) is in a critical condition in hospital after being assaulted in a Dublin city centre hotel this morning.
It is understood the victim was attacked by a number of men in the Abbey Hotel in Middle Abbey Street at around 2.00am.
He received serious head injuries during the assault.
He was taken to the Mater Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
There were no arrests.
