A man in his 30s is in critical condition in hospital today after an attack in Belfast.

A man in his 30s is in critical condition in hospital today after an attack in Belfast.

The man was attacked in a pub on Bedford Street at about 7.15pm yesterday. Three men have been arrested, a police spokesman said.

The spokesman said detectives in Musgrave Street station are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

They are particularly interested in talking to anybody who saw people running from the junction of Bedford Street and Ormeau Avenue.
