A Crumlin man (38) appeared in Kilmainham District Court on 51 charges of molesting children.
He is accused of sexually assaulting six girls and one boy, aged from four to 12, between 1979 and 1991. He also faces one charge of rape. The alleged assaults took place at Crumlin, Celbridge and Clondalkin.
Judge Gillian Hussey returned him for trial to the next sitting of the Circuit Criminal Court on his own bail of £500.
