A Co Galway man (42) has been extradited from England to face charges here of sexually assaulting his daughter. The man made a brief appearance at Loughrea Court, where he was remanded in custody to Ballinasloe next Wednesday.
He is charged with a total of 16 offences of indecent and sexual assault and two charges of attempted rape. The alleged offences occurred between 1986 and 1992.
