A man is receiving treatment in hospital following an seven-hour assault at his home in Clarcam, Co Donegal last night.
The man was assaulted from 6 p.m. last night until 1:15 a.m. this morning.
He is currently receiving treatment at Letterkenny General Hospital as a result of his injuries.
Gardai in Donegal Town are appealing for anyone who was in the Clarcam area between these times who noticed anything suspicious to ring Donegal Station on 074 9721021.
