A man in his 30s is in hospital today following a serious assault in Wexford early this morning.
Gardaí say the incident happened at 2:25am in the George Street area of the town.
A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene and he is currently being detained at Wexford Station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
