The Howth Coast Guard said it was last night called to search for a man who was last seen at the Howth Summit car park at about 5.30pm.

The Coast Guard helicopter was deployed and shortly before 6pm a man who appeared to have fallen 100 feet off a cliff path was sighted near the Bailey Lighthouse.
