A 25-year-old man was seriously injured in a stabbing incident in Co Antrim earlier today.
The victim suffered wounds to his chest and hand in the attack on the Larne Road, Ballymena, shortly before 6am.
Police said a 30-year-old man was arrested and is being questioned in connection with the incident. Officers said it is not believed to have been a sectarian attack.
