Man held over Limerick stabbing

An elderly man is being questioned about a stabbing in a pub in Co Limerick yesterday.

An elderly man is being questioned about a stabbing in a pub in Co Limerick yesterday.

The 77-year-old was arrested shortly after a 45-year-old man was stabbed in a pub in Hospital at 6pm.

He is being questioned in Bruff Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The injured man is being treated in Limerick Regional Hospital where his condition is described as critical but stable.
