Gardaí are continuing to question a man in his 30s arrested yesterday in relation to the murder of Siobhán Stapleton (51).
The mother of five died after she sustaining serious head injuries at her home outside Thomastown, Co Kilkenny, last Friday
The man is currently being held at Thomastown Garda station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardaí said he was arrested in the Thomastown area.
