A man in his 30s has been arrested following the seizure of drugs worth an estimated €750,000 at a house in Co Kildare today.
The haul was discovered after gardaí carried out a planned search of a rural house near Kilcock this afternoon.
Cannabis herb, cocaine, mixing agents and other drugs paraphernalia were recovered in the raid.
A Garda spokesman said the house was being used for the manufacture of drugs and has now been sealed off pending a forensic examination.
The man is being held under section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1996 at Leixlip Garda station.
The operation was carried out by members of the drugs and detective units attached to the Kildare Division.
