Gardaí are today questioning a man after recovering a firearm and drugs in Dublin.

Gardaí are today questioning a man after recovering a firearm and drugs in Dublin.

Officers raided a house at Gloucester Place in the north inner city at around 9.15am. They recovered a small quantity of cannabis and what is believed to be an assault rifle. A man in his 20s was arrested and taken to Store Street Garda station. He can be held for three days under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act.
