A 28-year-old man has been arrested following a seizure of cannabis plants in Mullingar, Co Westmeath.
A total of 450 plants with an estimated street value of €180,000 were seized after gardaí carried out a search of two houses in the Ardleigh Park and Clonmore Heights area of the town.
A Garda spokesman said both houses had sophisticated cultivation processes in operation.
The man is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Mullingar Garda station.
