A man is being questioned over an alleged assault on an eight-month-old boy in Co Cork.
The man (30) was arrested this morning and taken to Togher Garda Station.
The assault is alleged to have take place on August 15th, in Carrigaline, Co Cork.
A Garda spokesman said the boy was taken to hospital but could not provide further details.
