A man has been arrested following a drugs seizure in Tallaght yesterday.
Gardaí searched a premises in the Donomore Park area yesterday morning, and uncovered cocaine with an estimated street value of €21,000, a firearm and ammunition.
The man, who is in his 40s, is being held in Tallaght garda station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act. He will appear in Tallaght District Court tomorrow.
A separate search of a premises in Mullingar on Friday evening revealed a cannabis factory capable of producing what gardaí described as a "substantial amount" of the drug.
No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.
