Gardaí are questioning a man (24) who was arrested yesterday afternoon after he and two others were seen acting suspiciously.
After reports of suspicious activity behind the Black Forge Inn in Drimnagh, gardaí followed a man on a motorbike. He was later stopped and arrested, and a firearm was recovered nearby.
A second man on a motorbike fled the area towards Bunting Road, and a third man escaped on foot towards Slieve Bloom Park. Gardaí are seeking these men.
The man who was arrested is being held at Crumlin Garda Station.
