Gardai who disturbed burglars robbing Smiths Centra Supermarket in Malahide recovered stolen property and £1,300 cash after a high speed chase. Gerard Carey (19), of Glenshane Green, Tallaght, pleaded guilty in the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for his role in the crime which was committed on April 13th, 1995.
Judge Cyril Kelly remanded him on continuing bail for sentence on December
2th, 1996.
