Man held after Dublin drug find

One man is in custody following the seizure in central Dublin of over €100,000 worth of illegal drugs.

One man is in custody following the seizure in central Dublin of over €100,000 worth of illegal drugs.

Gardaí attached to the north central drug unit based in Store St Garda station carried out a search of a house at North Fredrick St.

They recovered 16,000 ecstasy tablets and 6 ounces of cocaine, which they said was worth in excess of €100,000.

A 28 year-old man was arrested and is currently being detained under the provisions

of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act at Store St Garda Station.
