Man held after drugs seizure

Drugs valued at €3.5 million were seized by gardaí in Dublin yesterday.

The 400kg of cannabis resin, 50kg of cannabis herb and 8kg of tablets were discovered at business premises near the Malahide Road in Coolock.

A man in his 20s remains in custody this evening at Santry Garda station. He is being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
