A 39-year-old man is being questioned by police in Northern Ireland this afternoon following the death of a man in Belfast on Friday.

The 46-year-old man, who is believed to have been homeless, was found lying at Bains Place, near Blackstaff Square.

He died a short time later.

PSNI detectives are continuing to question the 39-year-old man in connection with the death.

A 22 year old man who was also questioned by police was released without charge.
