An alcoholic man who was fighting with his brother and head-butted a garda who was called to deal with the disturbance has been told not to drink in public for 18 months.
Niall Russell (28), Moneymore, Drogheda, Co Louth, pleaded guilty to assault causing harm to Garda Derek O’Donoghue on George’s Street, Drogheda, on August 5th last year.
