The body of a man, believed to be aged in his 50s, was found in the Royal Canal in Dublin yesterday.
The body was seen floating in the water near Phibsboro shortly after 3 p.m and gardai were still trying to identify the dead man last night. He was described as 5ft. 8in, stockily built with short grey hair. He wore a beige sports jacket and black runner boots.
