Man for court over Thurles killing

A 34-year-old man is due to appear in court today charged with the murder of a Latvian man in Co Tipperary earlier this year.

A 34-year-old man is due to appear in court today charged with the murder of a Latvian man in Co Tipperary earlier this year.

The body of Renars Tuleiko (32) was found in a field outside Thurles on the night of April 15th last with stab wounds.

The man is due to appear before Limerick District Court this morning and will be the second person charged in connection with the death of the Latvian man.

Last month a mother-of-two appeared in court charged with assault.

Victoria Moverley, formerly of Mount George, Borrisoleigh, Co Tipperary is charged with assaulting Mr Tuleiko in April.
