A man has been charged and will appear before Blanchardstwon District Court tomorrow in connection with a €120,000 drugs seizure

Four men were arrested after gardaí seized over 10kg of cannabis herb during a series of raids in Meath, Dublin and Westmeath yesterday.

Two men were released without charge today while a third man remains in custody at Blanchardstown Garda Station.

A file will be prepared and forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Gardaí recovered 3kg of the drug when they stopped and searched a car at Main Street, Dunboyne, Co Meath, at around 2pm on Saturday afternoon. A followup search of a premises in Dunboyne uncovered an additional 2kg of cannabis.

A further 5kg of the drug were found during a search of a house in Huntstown, Dublin 15, and 1kg was seized from a house in Athlone, Co Westmeath.
