A man will appear before magistrates tomorrow on a charge connected to one of the biggest seizures of black market cigarettes in Northern Ireland.

The 32-year-old will face a charge of possessing terrorist property at Craigavon Magistrates' Court.

It is understood the charge relates to the discovery by police last November of 15.5 million cigarettes during an operation in north Armagh.

At the time, it was estimated the goods represented a £2.5 million loss to the Treasury.
