A man is due in court in Co Cork this morning on public order offences after he was arrested last night following a stand-off with gardaí in Togher.
Gardaí were called to a house at around 10pm where they were confronted with a man armed with a knife.
He was overpowered and taken to Cork University Hospital where he was treated for injuries.
