A man (25) is due in court in Waterford today charged in connection with the supply of cocaine to a group of people attending a 21st birthday party in Waterford.

Two men remain on life-support machines at Waterford Regional Hospital in Ardkeen after collapsing at the party.

The suspect was arrested in Sunday. He will be brought before Waterford District Court today.

Gardaí arrested a 19-year-old youth yesterday morning for questioning about the same incident. He is being held under Section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking Act at Waterford Garda station.
