A man is due in court this morning charged in connection with the seizure of a handgun in Dublin at the weekend.
Three men were arrested by gardaí on Crumlin Road, Dublin 12 at 2.30am on Saturday. A Glock pistol and a quantity of ammunition were recovered.
A 20-year-old man is due at Dublin District Court this morning over the seizure.
Two other men, both in their early 20s, were released without charge. A Garda spokesman said files are to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
