New York - One person has died in New Jersey, the first fatal victim there of the mosquito-borne West Nile virus, while the number of people infected has risen to 13, officials announced.
An 82-year-old man infected with the virus died on September 14th, New Jersey Governor, Ms Christine Todd Whitman, said.
