A man from Renmore in Galway city died at the weekend after falling into a ditch.
It is believed that Frank Barrett (59) fell into the ditch while changing a tyre on his car on the Galway-Headford road at 1am on Saturday.
Gardaí in Galway say they are not treating his death as suspicious but have appealed for witnesses to the incident.
