A 72-year-old man has died following a farm accident in Co Westmeath.
It is understood he fell into a slurry tank on a farm located between Mullingar and Delvin.
Two separate investigations are being carried out by gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority.
In the past six years, 102 people have been killed in farm-related accidents in this State, the equivalent of one death every three weeks.
