A man in his early 70s died in a house fire in Co Kilkenny this morning.
The fire was discovered in a house on the Main Street, Mullinavat shortly after 4.30am.
The body of the man was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital for a post-mortem. A technical examination of the scene is due to take place today.
