A man believed to be in his early 20s died from stab wounds last night following a dispute in a residential area of Glanmire, an eastern suburb of Cork. The man was not named and it is understood that a second person who also received knife wounds was being treated at Cork University Hospital. He is also believed to be in his early 20s.

The incident occurred at about 9.40 p.m. at Hazelwood Avenue, Glanmire. Three teenagers were arrested.
