A man (21) has died after he was involved in a two-car collision between a car and a 4x4 vehicle on the R700 at Brownstown, Co Kilkenny.
The collision happened at approximately 8.30am this morning.
The 21-year-old male driver of the car was fatally injured while the driver of the 4X4 received minor injuries.
The road has been closed pending a Garda forensic sxamination and local diversions are in place.
