A 40-year-old man died yesterday in Clare after being electrocuted when machinery he was operating hit an overhead power line in the Lisdoonvarna area.
The accident happened at about half past six as the man was making a delivery of materials to a building site in the area.
An investigation by the Health and Safety Authority gets underway this morning.
