One man has died and four people have been injured in a collision between two cars in Co Tipperary last night.
The crash happened at Whitefield, Loughmore, Templemore, shortly after 10pm.
The driver (32) of one of the cars was seriously injured and later died in Nenagh General Hospital. Four others suffered minor injuries in the crash.
A total of 328 people have died on the State's roads this year, according to Garda statistics.
